Residential Technicians provide direct supervision to youth ages 7 - 17. Residential Technicians’ assist youth with activities of daily living, to develop self esteem, self control, social skills and the ability to reduce or eliminate dysfunctional behaviors; redirect inappropriate behavior using established policies, procedures and guidelines; assist with school work as needed, escort youth to group activities, on and off campus.
Due to the nature of our business qualified applicants must be 21 years of age, have a high school diploma or GED with some experience working with children; bachelors in education, social work, psychology, human services or child development preferred; valid drivers license; current crisis management training, first aid/CPR, level I medication certification a plus but not required; continuing in-services training will be provided.
