Job Title: Residential Technician (Full Time/Part Time and PRN shifts available)

Residential Technicians provide direct supervision to youth ages 7 - 17. Residential Technicians’ assist youth with activities of daily living, to develop self esteem, self control, social skills and the ability to reduce or eliminate dysfunctional behaviors; redirect inappropriate behavior using established policies, procedures and guidelines; assist with school work as needed, escort youth to group activities, on and off campus.

Due to the nature of our business qualified applicants must be 21 years of age, have a high school diploma or GED with some experience working with children; bachelors in education, social work, psychology, human services or child development preferred; valid drivers license; current crisis management training, first aid/CPR, level I medication certification a plus but not required; continuing in-services training will be provided.

Job Title: Teacher

Elementary Special Education Teacher with experience working with LD/BD/ODD/ADHD students. Teacher will work closely with a LPC and LCSW to develop and implement treatment plans and IEP’s. The classroom has a 1:5 student ratio with a certified teacher and a behavior management trained teachers’ assistant. Qualified applicant will have excellent classroom management skills with the ability to use creative techniques to promote positive behaviors and learning. Valid Special Education Certificate k-12 preferred or a valid Missouri Teaching Certificate with at least 2 years classroom experience and the willingness to obtain their special education certification.

Job Title: LPC or LCSW

LPC or LCSW to provide therapeutic services to youth ages 7-17 in a residential living program. Responsibilities include but are not limited to providing individual, group and family therapy; develop treatment plans and prepare all other required case file documentation; consult with other members of the interdisciplinary treatment team to assess client progress. Qualifications: MO licensed with at least 2 years experience working with a diverse population of youth with mental health, education and legal challenges.

Job Title: Development Specialist

Primary responsibilities are grant writing and submitting grant reports in accordance with funders timeline, maintain current grants/reports calendar, coordinate media relations, public relations and agency publications, assist to keep website and social media pages current with updates and announcements, maintain donor database (Gift Works).

Bachelor’s in communications, public relations or marketing preferred; strong writing/editing, organizational and interpersonal skills; detail-oriented with verifiable grant writing experience; ability to multi-task and work under minimal supervision using good problem solving skills; proficient use of MS Word, Excel, and e-mail, and other business office machines; experience with electronic communications and Publisher software a plus; experience working in a not for profit business setting or two years in a general office setting.
